In the second quarter of 2025, the New Zealand Android market saw intriguing trends among the top turn-based tactics games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ from Snowprint Studios saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching around $2.2K at the end of March. The game's downloads fluctuated, peaking at 137 in early June, while active users showed a decline from 345 to 237 by the quarter's end.

SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, released by Bandai Namco Entertainment, experienced a revenue surge to approximately $2.4K in the final week of June. Initial downloads were high at 399, but decreased to 52 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 259.
